I made a video with 2 crashes with my C2.
Hello! I'm writing from UK, where I've been attended at a rally on a splendid track, Crawberry Crag, with a familiar car: Renault Clio. I don't know why, but I started the race bad and I made some mistakes in the first kilometer, but after that it was ok.
As a conclusion, it's awesome to drive in a forest with 150 km/h. It's freakin' awesome. In the same way as it's awesome to drive with 150 km/h on wet tarmac. I love this sensation.
What is more beautiful than winning the semi-finals? Winning the final! Yes, I have won the final. It was an easy race, easier than I expected, and that thing proved to me that Renault Clio is better than Opel Corsa. I have never driven an Opel Corsa, but I can say that Renault Clio is fabulous. It isn't powerful, but is very controllable and it's perfect for a crossover, who has a lot of turns. I don't know what to expect for the future, maybe I will receive a new car from my sponsors. Maybe a Mitsubishi Evo... But until then, enjoy the video:
Hello! Do you remember I promised you a great show some time ago? Here it is!
I am writing from Australia, where I attend at a crossover with two races. I have just finished the semifinals and I have succeded win against another Renault Clio. I trusted myself and my new car and, in my opinion, I drove very fast. The race was interesting, with beatiful turns, where I could use the handbrake :D, jumps and straight portions, where I could force the car. And it didn't disappointed me.
In the finals I'm expecting a stronger opponent, maybe with a better car... Until then, enjoy the video:
I know I promissed you a great show in my last post, but now I am disapointed. The rally was harder than I expected and the car didn't't behave as I thought. Of course, there was just my mistakes, but I think I'm not familiarized with a 4WD car. Yet! Consequently, I made 2 small accidents (00:50 and 01:09), I was very closed to hit the wall (01:38) and a tree (01:42) and immediately after that I missed a jump (01:46). In my opinion, the last mistake might be fatal, but I was lucky. Or maybe skilled... I don't know. All that matters is that I won the race and my first rally with a 4WD.
The second reason why I am disapointed is the speed. Even though I won, I think I drove slow and I could do it better. I will practice more and I will try to be the best.
Enjoy:
Hello. Last time when I wrote on this blog, I said I'm waiting for a new race or maybe for a new car. My desire has been fulfilled, I have a new car: Fiat Punto. I tested it in Italy, on Monte di li Conchi track, and i'm pleasantly suprised. I was a new but great experience, with my first 4WD rally car. Punto is a great car for a novice racer as me: it's powerfull, beautiful and very controllable. I drove slow at this test to get familiar with the car, but I promisse you a show at the rally!
